Arijana is an avid AR/VR Evangelist working as the Director of Consumer Business Development at the Swisscom Innovation Outpost in the Silicon Valley. Responsible for consumer related trends, she identifies and captures new trends, technologies and ideas relevant to the Swiss consumer market.
In addition, Arijana co-leads the DART 17 Project co-founded with Sophie Lamparter from swissnex San Francisco. DART 17 is a test laboratory for interactive experiences, objects, and tools in San Francisco.
Previously to joining the Outpost, Arijana was a Program Manager of Culture & Change at Swisscoms SMB Segment for three years. In this role, Arijana was responsible for the development and management of a change program that provided strategic support for an SME segment with approximately 1,000 employees, and the formation of an associated team comprised mostly of interns and trainees.
Before that, Arijana was the Head of Contact Center B2B at the Direct Marketing Center for Swisscom for two years. During this time, Arijana worked in operative management and helped develop a customer and sales oriented contact center for small and medium-sized enterprises, where she was responsible for the direct management of four team leaders and 80 employees.
Prior to joining Swisscom Arijana spent 5 years at ProLog Logistics in San Diego, CA, where she last held the position of Head of Customer Service. Arijana started studies in Social Psychology in San Diego and transitioned Economics when moving to Switzerland. She now holds a BASc in Business Economics from HSO in Zurich.
