Marius Aeberli is focused on imagining innovative experiences for emerging technologies in unexpected environments. He is also passionate about how the data and technologies of both yesterday and today can shape an alternative tomorrow. He lead the Chronogram design team in his current role as a Senior Interaction Designer at EPFL+ECAL Lab in Lausanne.
In addition, Marius is the Academic Programme Coordinator of the Master of Advanced Studies in Design Research for Digital Innovation at EPFL+ECAL Lab.
Combining advanced education with a research project, this 2-year programme rethinks the designer’s position in an engineering-driven world of innovation and contributes to create new links between research and applications for society.
Prior to working for the Lab, he co-founded NOVERTUR, an online platform helping SMEs to go international thanks to web technologies. He also taught visual communication and interaction design at ECAL and has worked as a freelance designer and storyteller for clients such as Swiss Television, Red Cross, Montreux Jazz Festival, Edipresse, Moncler and Siemens.
