Vangelis Lympouridis is a distinct producer, researcher, technologist and innovator in the areas of Virtual Reality and Whole Body Interaction. He is the founder of Enosis VR and he worked with Google Play and the iconic rock band Queen to direct and produce the Bohemian Rhapsody Experience, a highly innovative mobile VR app available for Android and iOS. Enosis is developing content, B2B projects and joint R&D ventures in strategic partnership with leading technology corporations interested in VR such as Google, Microsoft, Dolby Laboratories, General Motors and HP Labs.
Until recently Vangelis was overseeing research and productions in VR at the School of Cinematic Arts at USC working with Mark Bolas at the famous MxR Studio, the main VR hub and Whole Body Interaction research center at USC. While at USC, he produced a series of early room-scale VR projects that were exhibited at prestigious venues such as the Sundance, Tribeca and Sheffield Doc film festivals, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the World Economic Forum in Davos and The Future of Storytelling in New York.
Vangelis has a PhD in Whole Body Interaction and an MSc in Sound Design from the University of Edinburgh. He also holds a BFA in Sculpture and Environmental Art from Glasgow School of Art. He lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
