Last October the World VR Forum was a guest speaker at the World Publishing Expo in Vienna organized by the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) and the Global Alliance for Media Innovation (GAMI).. With more than 6,000 attending the end result of our participation was the further development of the immersion of VR and Journalism which will happen this May as WAN-IFRA and GAMI, in partnership with the University of Neuchâtel take on the task of offering a VR Master Class and creating VR Journalistic Experiences during the WVRF conference.
The program involves inviting up to 9 professional journalists from around the world who will be supported by students from the journalism master’s course from the University of Neuchâtel to create VR Journalistic Experiences within 4 days of the summit.
GoPro will be providing their VR Camera, the Omni.
